In the regions, especially in Lanaudière, there is no public transport. Customers cannot even come to our lodge other than by taking a car. We cannot leave the village other than by car (or by bicycle for very short distances in summer).
How is it possible to think of building suddenly and at a cost of around ten billion a third link for the personal vehicles of the suburbanites of Quebec? The environmental, economic (and electoral) priority is not there.
That the government put all these billions on buses or another type of EFFICIENT public transport in the regions. It would be so much more rational and intelligent.
