This feat he achieved a few years ago and which allowed him to earn several million euros!

Jean-Marie Bigard is one of the last personalities to have been interviewed by Jordan De Luxe.

The comedian was asked about his career with one of the highlights: On June 18, 2004, the sixty-something achieved the incredible feat of performing in front of more than 50,000 people (among them many celebrities like Lara Fabian, Mimie Mathy, or Arthur, editor’s note) at the Stade de France. A triumph in an enclosure usually reserved for major sporting events, especially since he had invested … five million euros invested. “I booked it in April to do a rehearsal for one million euros. Plus four million euros. There is no longer a light bulb to rent in Paris. I have two 34-ton screens and 340m2 each. I tripled the electrical power of the stadium”he told reporters. “I had 2.3 million in revenue. So I had a 2.7 million deficit when I did the Stade de France. I had planned to compensate with DVD sales. I had to sell some 400,000. I sold 1.4 million. That’s why I paid myself the luxury of buying myself my Legion of Honor, which I will never be given back”.

In total, eight million DVDs have been sold. “I released my show at the end of November and at the end of December, I had sold 500,000 DVDs. I had seven euros on each DVD. And then, 500,000 DVDs the rest of the year. That means that each show, I earned up to 7 million euros over the year”, dropped the one made up with Muriel Robin. Moreover, still speaking of figures, the husband of Lola Marois spoke of the salary he received in the Big heads on RTLof which it is no longer a part. “It was about 600 euros per show. If you go twice a week, that’s 1,200. And over four weeks, that’s 4,000 euros”. Great sums!
