The general manager of FC Sochaux-Montbéliard sentenced for public insults

He is ultimately convicted. The general manager of FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, Samuel Laurent, was tried on Tuesday June 7 by the Ajaccio criminal court. Sentenced for public insults, after the events on the sidelines of the meeting between AC Ajaccio and the FCSM, last September.

Samuel Laurent had then multiplied the media outlets to denounce the attitude of the Ajaccien club and that of its security. Outrageous remarks according to the Corsican court, which therefore recognized the Sochaux leader, already busy in managing the case of his coach who wishes to leave the club, guilty.

He is sentenced to a fine of 2,500 euros as well as damages against José Scaglia, director of security for the Ajaccien club.
