The pressure is mounting for the Toulouse Stadium. On Saturday, Les Rouge et Noir receive La Rochelle in the Top 14 play-off. A game that looks like deja vu : it’s the same poster as the two finals of last year, in the league and in the Champions Cup. The winner will face Castres in the semi-finals.
A saturated online ticket office
The ticket office was reserved for subscribers and partners until Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. (with a contingent of 2,500 places for La Rochelle supporters). After this time, the online sale has opened to non-subscribers. But the website was full. Some supporters have therefore decided to try their luck by going to the physical ticket office, at the Stade Ernest Wallon, like Yves, who came by bike: “I came at 4 p.m. I was told that it was for subscribers only and that after 6 p.m. _there would only be places left at 80 €_. So for me it’s too expensive. We are a little disappointed. I know that now the players are professionals, but hey, for me it’s too high at this price.”
We also love the Toulouse stadium!
About fifteen people showed up at the ticket office after 6 p.m. Fouad, looking for parking spaces – more affordable – also preferred to give up:“I came on purpose to try to get tickets for the match on Saturday evening. On the internet, it’s impossible: the ticket office is saturated. For matches like that, you would have to be more structured. They have neglected the big audience : why put us on the sidelines by favoring subscribers and partners? I understand that they are the ones who, in quotes, make the club live. But we also bring the club to life, because we also love the Toulouse stadium!”
