On the set of 8 Hours of France 2, Wednesday June 8, journalist Valérie Astruc returned to the legislative elections, the first round of which is scheduled for Sunday June 12.

“Others seriously fear a relative majority, which would force Emmanuel Macron to deal not only with the teams of Bayrou and Philippe, but also with Les Républicains”, notes journalist Valérie Astruc on set. According to them, Emmanuel Macron’s popularity rating has lost five points in two months and pollsters note a risk that the presidential majority will be eliminated in the first round in certain popular constituencies, in favor of the RN-Nupes duel.
