Julien Doré has been an accomplished artist since his debut in the “Nouvelle Star” in 2007. He has released a ton of hits, from “Nous”, to “Paris-Seychelles”, via “Coco Câline”. And in 15 years of career, the artist has remained quite discreet about his personal life. Until May 29 and the announcement of the death of his mother via an Instagram post. “The world doesn’t quite look the same without his mother. Without her almost everything goes out, fades, melts. The son that I remain, goes on stage in the evening, without being able to scream that no, however, the world doesn’t quite look the same without its mum. Hurry up to live well, to swallow time, everything goes away, always, one day, even mums”he wrote in the caption of a photo of him as a child accompanied by his mother published on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
He also remained rather discreet about the small disasters encountered during his appearances on stagewhich he mentioned during his interview with TV 7 Days, published online on June 6. The young dad recounts his first award for the “New Star” in 2007 and the accidental dress he narrowly avoided. “That evening, in Nouvelle Star, I wore a very tight suit and, when I came on stage, the fly cracks!”, did he declare. Luckily, a dresser was around and was able to patch it all up with a safety pin. “There’s a stool, except if I sit down, I put myself in danger in front of a few million people…”, he continued. Before concluding : “A crazy moment, made of a stool, a safety pin and a lot of stress!”.
