If they contribute to feeding the New York population, delivery people are one of the most vulnerable and invisible professions. Last year, at least 15 delivery workers died in New York in road accidents or violent assaults.
“We’re fed up because it’s dangerous, because people with bladed weapons are trying to rob us” explains Cesar Solano.
The young man works 7 days a week, he is paid 12.50 dollars per hour. Arrived by the border of Mexico alone at the age of 17, he must repay the debts of his smugglers. Here is his daily life.
