The new Miss Périgord is called Eve Alexeline, she is 20 years old, lives in Brantôme and is about to enter her third year of medicine in Limoges. She was elected this Saturday April 4 during the gala organized by the Miss Périgord committee at the sports hall of Saint-Cyprien, in Périgord noir, among ten candidates.
What convinced the jury? “My smile, and my speech, where I insisted on my desire to assert myself as a woman”, assures the candidate, joined by France Bleu Périgord. The ten years of dance lessons no doubt also helped, as the dance was part of the competition.
Anaïs Vasco and Laura Pontus as Dauphines
The first runner-up is called de Anaïs Vasco, she comes from Bergerac and is 19 years old. Laura Pontus is ranked second runner-up. The young woman from Bergerac is 23 years old. She had already participated in Miss Périgord last year. The three young women will participate in Miss Aquitaine, where the chosen one will participate in the Miss France contest.
Eve Alexeline succeeds Léa Rodrigues, Miss Périgord 2021 who will return her crown. Arrival third runner-up in the Miss Aquitaine contest, she had not participated in Miss France. The last time a Périgourdine won the regional competition was in 2020. Leïla Veslard had been elected Miss Aquitaine and had participated in the Miss France 2021 competition. She had finished at the gates of the Top 5.
