7th stage, Saint-Chaffrey > Vaujany (134.8 km)

The seventh and penultimate stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné 2022 links the Hautes-Alpes to Isère, via Savoie. The start will be given on June 11 from Saint-Chaffrey for an arrival, 134.8 km further, in Vaujany, in Isère. This seventh stage, very mountainous, is calibrated for climbers and promises magnificent landscapes, in the heart of the Alps. As in similar portions of the Tour de France, this is the kind of course that could upset the general classification with possible breakaways. The departure will be given at 12:55 p.m., for an arrival scheduled between 4:45 p.m. and 5:10 p.m.
