Part of the online services of the Bibliothèques et Archives Nationales du Québec (BAnQ) were interrupted on Friday “due to a computer intrusion”.

“No personal data seems to have been compromised and all our buildings remain open,” BAnQ states on its website.
The services affected include reservations, access to external digital resources, the interlibrary loan service, and the BAnQ wireless network at the Grande Bibliothèque.
“A detailed analysis of our computer system is underway,” says BAnQ.
The institution was unable to predict when the affected services would be available again at the time of this posting.
