Friday June 3, France receives Denmark at the Stade de France in Seine-Saint-Denis. To avoid the fiasco of the Champions League final, the police got in place very early.

Dozens of CRS buses, numerous patrols and impressive security, this is what the spectators present this evening for the poster will attend. France-Denmark. 2,000 security forces are at the Stade de France to secure access for the match, it is double compared to the Champions League final. 600 agents are also on site to systematically carry out pat-downs and prevent some from introducing objects into the stadium.

For many, seeing such a mobilization is necessarily reassuring. “CelIt reassured us to see the number of police and gendarmes there when we arrived”says a man. “There, we feel very very safe”, admits a woman who came to watch the game. Some families are also reassured that the children will not be able to witness scenes of violence near the stadium. Some prefer to laugh at it, like this man supporting the Blues: “there are more cops than supporters”he jokes.
