A week and a half before the first round of the legislative elections, France Bleu RCFM and Corse Matin continue to bring this campaign to life. Place this Thursday at the third debate with the candidates of the first constituency of Corse-du-Sud. It is the only one where the outgoing deputy, Jean-Jacques Ferrara, does not represent himself. For 1h30, seven of the twelve candidates debated on town planning, the mafia’s hold on the island, health, inflation and purchasing power. The exchanges took place at the Palais des Congrès in Ajaccio and gave rise to a few passes of arms.

Anissa-Flore Amziane, Communist Party candidate. “We defend the Nupes program nationally, but with our specificities. We need an elected representative to bring the voice of the Corsicans to the National Assembly. We are the champions of France in terms of precariousness. You can count on us to defend the Corsicans against speculation and the capture of wealth.”
Nathaly Antona, candidate of the National Rally. “At the national level, we will be a very strong opposition against Emmanuel Macron. We will carry ideas for Corsica. We already have projects and they are already supported by the National Rally.”
Jean-Paul Carrolaggi, without label, supported by Corsica Libera. “This election, before being a legislative election for the French National Assembly, is a Corsican election. To show the government that the Corsicans want autonomy and want people capable of going to discuss in Paris. I think my history pleads for me, I should be of this.”
Romain Colonna, Fà Populu Inseme candidate. [En Corse] “The historic struggle of the Corsican people is in line with the political action of Gilles Simeoni, by structuring itself around a social project to defend the interests of the Corsicans in Paris and not the interests of Paris in Corsica. . Laurent Marcangeli, mayor of Ajaccio, candidate (Horizons) of the presidential majority. “I wish to be as useful as possible within the framework of the next 5 years With the experience that is mine, both at national and local level, I think I bring knowledge. I think I can serve Corsica in a totally free way , as I have done in the past. This government must succeed and I am ready to participate with the experience that is mine.”
Robin de Mari, Popular Union candidate. “I also want my government to succeed, but with Jean-Luc Mélenchon as Prime Minister. On June 12 and 19, there is a choice. Either we continue with a majority that is presidential and you can vote Laurent Marcangeli, or you want a another majority and you vote for my candidacy.”
Michel Mozziconacci, candidate without label. “I want to be the deputy of the balances, between the rural, the urban and the peri-urban. Between the young and the old. Between the public and the private. And finally between Corsica and Paris to have a peaceful and constructive dialogue .”
