After two consecutive defeats, a small break in the Ligue 2 championship for the DFCO. The “Reds” (Ligue 2) made their entry into the Coupe de France, in the 7th round, against the neighbor of Saint-Apollinaire (National 3). Kick-off on Saturday 13 November at 6 p.m. at the Stade Gaston Gérard.
Two new wounded
Hard blow for the DFCO, with two injured players, and for several weeks. Mickaël Le Bihan, hit in the thigh, will be absent for at least three weeks. “We should get it back after Auxerre”, says Patrice Garande.
The other injured is the young Adama Fofana, who arrived on the last day of the summer transfer window. He has “a knee problem, with an affected ligament”, explains his trainer, after a blow received in Ajaccio. He has to do exams and meet with specialists. His absence is estimated to be between ten and twelve weeks.
Feedback!
Defender Jonathan Panzo is back. Injured since the start of the season, his last match dates back to May 16, 2021, a defeat against Nantes. Also back is Bryan Soumaré, who has played six games this season, and who has not appeared since the trip to Pau at the end of August – he was quite hard hit by the Covid. Defender Zargo Touré, absent for several weeks, is also back.
Three players with their selections
The DFCO will have to do without its three players called up with their selections, since there is no truce in Ligue 2. Bruno Ecuele-Manga (Gabon), Sénou Coulibaly (Mali) and Mattéo Ahlinvi (Benin), are concerned.
Baptiste Reynet still injured
As during the trip to Corsica last weekend, Anthony Racioppi should keep the DFCO cage. The usual incumbent, Baptiste Reynet, is still recovering from a sprained ankle.
In the absentee department, Jordan Marié always treats his knee, Romain Philippoteaux his ankle.
Sammaritano captain
“Fred Sammaritano will play, he will even be the team captain”, said Patrice Garande.
