Marine Le Pen was the guest of the “4 Truths” of France 2, Wednesday June 1. The former candidate of the National Rally for the presidency notably returned to the rise in inflation.
On the set of “4 Truths” of France 2, Wednesday June 1, the deputy of the National Rally of Pas-de-Calais and ex-candidate for the presidential election 2022, Marine Le Pen, who had moreover made the power of purchasing, one of its flagship campaign topics, returned to the rise in inflation. While the Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, affirms in the columns of the Figaro that France will emerge from the peak of inflation in 2023, Marine Le Pen simply advised “not to believe a word of this [qu’il dit] and indeed, the whole government. […] They lie until they can’t help but tell the truth.”.
“The government has not acted and is refusing to act. I expected that [l’on vote] a law on purchasing power as soon as possible. It’s been going on for two months and it will still continue, and all the measures announced will not take place before September!” denounced Marine Le Pen for whom, the solution “it’s the reduction of VAT from 20 to 5.5 on energy products, […] it’s a basket of 100 basic necessities with 0% VAT”. Also questioned about the incidents at the Stade de France, at the end of the interview, Marine Le Pen also judged “For a minister to come on television to lie as he did, it is very serious. […] He should himself consider that he must leave”.
