relive the debate in the 3rd constituency of Haute-Garonne in France Bleu Occitanie

In the 3rd district of Haute-Garonne, which includes the south-east of Toulouse, from the Carmes to Montaudran, passing through the Château de l’Hers, then which extends to the east, almost to the Tarn, 11 candidates are presented. Three candidates debated this Tuesday evening on France bleu Occitanie: Corinne Vignonof the presidential majority, Laurence Arribage for Republicans and Agatha Roby of insubordinate France, which represents the left-wing alliance, Nupes (New Popular Ecological and Social Union).

Parity

A fact rare enough to underline it: around the table, three women politicians. The candidates first discussed their vision of parity and equality.

Particularly at the start of the debate, there were tensions between Corinne Vignon and Laurence Arribagé. Corinne Vignon accuses her competitor of using her name (her husband being a former TFC player) to campaign. What Laurence Arribagé designates as “ordinary sexism“.

Transportation

The candidates then debated on the new metro line between Colomiers-gare and Labège La Cadène. All three are in favour, but Agathe Roby (Nupes) raises a problem according to her: that of cost. “You did not answer me on the financing of this line, with the explosion of the budget“, she launched to Laurence Arribagé. “I am not for punitive ecology, but for popular ecology“, added Agathe Roby.

Another problem: the Toulouse RER. Laurence Arribagé is against, Corinne Vignon and Agathe Roby are for. On this point Laurence Arribagé and Agathe Roby are firmly opposed.

Legislative elections will be held on June 12 and 19. The other candidates in the 3rd constituency of Haute-Garonne are:

  • Benoît Calmels (Ecologists)
  • David Saforcada (Various left)
  • Malena Adrada (Various far left)
  • Olivier De Guyenro (Various right)
  • Clément Sanvisens (Ecologists)
  • Camille Dulon (Reconquest!)
  • Patrice Mur (Radical Left Party)
  • André Michel Lignier (Various left)
