The stress is mounting for the 936,000 candidates who have made wishes on the Parcoursup platform. The first answers of the admission phase will fall from Thursday at 7 p.m., announced the Ministries of National Education and Higher Education in a press release on Tuesday. Admission proposals will then be sent continuously until July 14 inclusive.
Deadline to respond
Vigilance. For all admissions proposals sent to candidates between 2 and 6 June inclusive, the deadline for responding is fixed at June 7 11:59 p.m.. For proposals received on or after June 7 and throughout the main admissions phase, the response time will be two days.
In contrast, do not panic if you are unable to respond to an admission proposal this Thursday at 7 p.m.: “So that they can simultaneously access their file, the platform will initially be available in consultation mode. Then during the evening, candidates will be able to start responding to the admissions proposals that have been made to them”underlines the press release.
Candidate support
The high schools and Parcoursup teams are “mobilized” to support candidates and answer their questions, ensure the Ministries of National Education and Higher Education. the green number, 0 800 400 070, accessible Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the admission phase, will exceptionally be open on Saturday June 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Monday June 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. At the other end of the line: Parcoursup advisers.
From June 3, dedicated discussion times to Parcoursup are also provided in the establishments to advise students on their orientation.
The ministries finally promise “a specific accompaniment” for candidates who have “exclusively requested selective training and whose applications would not have been selected by the training they requested”.
