Can someone explain to me why, during the day, on the public radio, financed by our taxes, we broadcast classical music only in English ? […] Music may be a universal language, but I would like to hear about Mozart, Berlioz or Chopin in my language. Even the Saturday opera presented in French was relegated to evening broadcast. However, how many classical musicians say they discovered their art on the radio, often the only way to access it for many children? By the way, thanks to RVM, a private station partially funded by donations, which still gives us this pleasure at certain times.
