The next-generation Honda Civic Si is based on the eleventh iteration Civic sedan, which also gives it its own styling signature.

“Aesthetically, the next-generation Honda Civic is very well done. In fact, the line is very fluid on the outside as well as on the inside”, rejoices the journalist from the Car guide Dominic Boucher.

“In terms of technologies, we have semi-autonomous driving [et] We also have several other driving aids and assistance technologies that work well,” he explains. Five horses less

“Under the hood is a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that we carry over from the older generation,” Dominic points out. He explains that the power has been reduced by five horsepower compared to the previous version to settle at 200 horsepower. Torque of 192 lb-ft remains the same.

“Honda however mentioned that the power and torque range [reste] longer in terms of engine speed,” says Dominic. Only the six-speed manual transmission is on the menu. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes about seven seconds.
