Thierry Ardisson is a big mouth and at 79, things have no real reason to change. On May 2, the one who is nicknamed “the man in black” offered himself as a new start. After his eviction from the Canal group where he presented for more than ten years “Salut les earthlings”, the companion of Audrey Crespo Mara made a return to France Télévisions, he who had hosted the show that became cult, “Everyone speaks”.
For this comeback, Thierry Ardisson has created “Hôtel du temps”, an atypical fictional interview magazine for France 3. Thanks to recent technologies that make it possible to give actors the faces of deceased personalities and to clone voices, this singular documentary proposes to retrace the lives of famous personalities.
But then, the audience was clearly not up to the ambitions of this program, as evidenced by the first issue dedicated to Dalida. Thierry Ardisson thus confided in the columns of Parisian on this failure which he experienced particularly badly. “Even if it is in the middle of the box, this weak audience affected me terribly. I was disappointed, even dejected. I put so much energy into this project. However, we had a rave press that spoke of a ‘amazing’, ‘innovative’, ‘moving’ programyou,” he admitted.
In the process, Thierry Ardisson settled his accounts with Cyril Hanouna, who did not spare him in “Touche pas à mon poste”. “He’s on duty to knock me out. It will escape no one that Vincent Bolloré was ordered to pay me 5 million euros after my ousting from C8. Contrary to their position during the procedure, Hanouna said in the ‘TPMP’ that he dedicated to me: ‘We did well to get rid of him’. Hanouna is the voice of his master“, he let go.
