A car catches fire because of a short circuit in the center of a town in Dordogne

A motorist saw his car catch fire this Saturday, April 28, at the end of the afternoon in Thiviers in the Dordogne. In the parking lot of the Place de la République, in the center of the town, the vehicle caught fire and the fire spread to the tires and then to two vehicles parked next to it.

It would be a short circuit, according to the mayor of the town, who argues that the heat could have caused the incident. The firefighters quickly intervened and the place was cleared in the middle of the evening. There were no injuries, only material damage.
