Benjamin Thomas wins the second stage at Pré-en-Pail-Saint-Samson

Benjamin Thomas of the Cofidis team won this Friday, May 27 for the second stage of the 47th edition of the Boucles de la Mayenne, a long stage of 171 kilometers linking Jublains to Pré-en-Pail-Saint-Samson. The Frenchman from AG2R Citroën Team, Benoit Cosnefroyfavorite of the competition, finished second and the Spaniard Alex Aranburu Deba of the Movistar ranks third.

It is therefore the Frenchman Benjamin Thomas who seizes the leader’s yellow jersey. Les Boucles de la Mayenne, an event to experience for four days on France Bleu Mayenne and on the application here by France Bleu and France 3.

Third stage this Saturday

Place for the third stage of the cycling race this Saturday, the longest of the 47th edition between Saint-Berthevin and Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne. Flatter than the previous stage, it promises a spectacular finish where the sprinters-punchers should enjoy themselves after three loops in the town of Château-Gontier.
