Built in one of the old boathouses of the Libourne Rowing Club, the Le Baz’Art café-théâtre program shows every weekend and hosts artist residencies and dance and theater workshops.
Laughing Seabird
Laughing Seabird takes us on a dive as much as a flight to conquer our possibilities. In her second album, The Transformation Place, arranged by Emmanuel Heyner, she digs the furrow of her bewitching, elegant and energizing folk-pop: arrangements with often Celtic and Floyd influences, melodies that stick in our minds, and a full, expressive, percussive or soft voice. In French as well as in English, the poetry of his texts gives way to realism or enchantment. Welcome to The Transformation Place! Saturday May 28 at 9 p.m.
Rififi in the Jaja
Julot and Paulo are the worthy heirs of the “Tontons flingueurs”! They will engage in a battle sculpted with humor between wine appellations, with great reinforcements of waltz of grape varieties, small thirsts for great wines, small caustic white wine, smoky red wine and “bottling at the property” shootouts with corkscrew guns. Julot, the bar owner, manages the tastings and Paulo, provides musical entertainment. And when surrealism gets involved, the bottles multiply at will, the thoughts can be read at the bottom of the glasses and the balloons continue to fill up when there are only corpses on the table , so yes, there is “Rififi in the jaja”!
