They would have stolen tractors, cars but also various objects in houses and apartments at night… Five men were arrested on May 17 then placed in police custody, according to information from La Nouvelle République confirmed by the public prosecutor of Tours Grégoire Dulin. They would have committed thefts for a year, between 2021 and 2022, mainly in Tours and its metropolis.
They have since been indicted for “theft and concealment in an organized gang” and “association of criminals”. Four were remanded in custody and one under judicial supervision. “A sixth suspect is still wanted”says the prosecutor.
