Michel Drucker balances on this famous radio which did not want him because of his age!

At almost 80 years old, Michel Drucker is a victim of ageism, that is to say that he is discriminated against because of his age. According to an interview with Parisian, published Monday, May 23, the totem of French television at the controls of “Vivement Dimanche” for years, no longer has its place where it would like to have it. While talking about the transfer of his program from France 2 to France 3, Michel Drucker explained that he would not have been against a small detour by the radio, which he misses enormously.

“I miss it. With the boss of France Inter (Laurence Bloch who will give way to Adèle Van Reeth), I had discussed a return to ‘Radioscopie’ hosted by Jacques Chancel”, confided the star of France Television. An idea that did not really excite the leader in question. “It had a prestigious side. But I understood that she thought I was too old… Perhaps there is an associative radio for nursing homes? Or that my place is more on France Bleu?”, then ironically launched Michel Drucker.

And Europe 1 then? “As for Europe 1, it hurts my heart that it has fallen so low. I would see Jean-Marc Morandini at the head of the programs!”, he continued. It is said to be too old, in any case, it does not lack humor. No radio for Michel Drucker therefore, at least not for now, but a new TV channel, that’s already it! “Vivement dimanche” will now be broadcast on France 3 at 1:30 p.m.
