Love and Thunder” reveals itself with Natalie Portman as the goddess of thunder and an unrecognizable Christian Bale

Fans were getting impatient, they are delighted, with the release of the official trailer for the fourth chapter of the adventures of Thor, titled Love and Thunder. Five years after the previous part Ragnarok, the God of Thunder returns to the big screen alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy he joined after Avengers: Infinity War.

The Nordic hero is deep in introspection. Devoid of Mjolnirits precious hammer he look for find out who he really is. Depending on the elements present in the band-announcementhe goes on an adventure through the world and multiply encounters. But he is quickly overtaken by the appearance of a new threat. Thor will have to fight this killer with a surprising sidekick, his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster who has become the female version of the god of thunder. The reunion of the two lovers could well be explosive and give a continuation to their love story interrupted since Thor: Ragnarok is over eight years ago.

Characters are also returning: Valkyrie, played by Tessa Thompsonbut also the crew of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Lord, Nebula, Groot and Mantis will take part in the fight. A new god could also lend a hand, Zeus, played by Russell Crowe and visible in his golden armor in the trailer.

This new part promises to keep its part of comedy and its retro side like the trailer punctuated by Sweet Child O’Mine from Guns N’Roses. A style specific to the director Taika Waititi (Thor 3)which signs this promising component, scheduled for release on July 13.
