The Boston Celtics wasted no time in giving their coin to the Miami Heat, who won 102-82 in Game 4 of the Eastern Finals on Monday at TD Garden.
The crowd favorites thus leveled the odds in the series, which returns to Florida for Game 5 on Wednesday.
In the duel of the day, the Celtics showed no mercy for their rivals, and this, from the first minutes of the match, seizing among other things a lead of 22 points before the end of the first quarter. They even increased that lead to 32 points at some point in the third quarter.
Jayson Tatum continued his impressive playoff run, picking up 31 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the victory.
On the Heat side, Victor Oladipo had 30 points in the loss. Few members of the visitors had a good game. Of the five starting players, none has passed the 10-point mark.
