Newly appointed on Friday May 20, the government of Elisabeth Borne is busy and a bill concerning the decline in purchasing power should see the light of day very soon. Christopher Gascard is duplex of the Elysée to tell us more.
It is a priority for the government of Elisabeth Borne I, the decline in purchasing power is on everyone’s lips. A bill will be announced before the legislative elections. Many measures should make up this text. An increase in social benefits is under study as well as the raising of the index point of the civil service, demanded by many unions.
Other measures already in place should be maintained, such as the employment-service check or the tariff shield on energy expenditure. The objective for the government is to meet expectations and show its good will, three weeks before the first round of the legislative elections which will take place on June 12. The bill should be presented either before this deadline or between the two rounds.
