How do we prepare for the best?

The arrival of sunny days often goes hand in hand with recklessness, lightness, so I thought it might be appropriate to consider these moments to come as best as possible.

So we put everything in place to be sure that the best happens to us?

The principle is there but rather than preparing for the best, I wanted to say repairing for the best. This is the whole nuance on which I would like to make you aware this morning. Very often when we have a difficulty, we will try to shelter ourselves from this difficulty. It can also be unconscious. Faced with a toxic person, an uncomfortable situation, we can often choose the solution of avoidance to ensure our well-being. Preserving yourself also allows you to recover your energy, to stabilize yourself again. But are we cured for all that? Sometimes we fool ourselves… We sincerely think that by moving away from what hurts us we will be better. But sooner or later, life will put you back in the face of the difficulty that we have piled so many lids on.

So you mean that to overcome a difficulty you have to be able to face it?

In a way, but face it with yourself. It means working on “what makes this situation uncomfortable for me”, “what does this situation teach me about myself? “. This approach seems necessary to me if we want to give ourselves the best chance of going for the best. To repair a wound is to treat it in depth, it is not to put a bandage on it, or to make it up, just to have the impression that it is not there. Giving ourselves time to look at things in the face, to open our eyes and to repair ourselves gives us the best chance of moving towards a future more in line with our expectations. Of course, it takes courage to do this!

So if we want to prepare to live the best we repair ourselves first, with the help of psychologists, therapists! And can we add a little sophro exercise?

Yes, we can, in parallel with a “repair” approach, let’s not forget to consider ourselves positively. In sophrology we work to make our brain our best ally. So by using our capacity for creative self-visualization, we help our brain to consider a situation from a positive angle by associating a feeling of well-being with it. It is these repetitive exercises that will make our brain understand that the best for us is POSSIBLE.

So let’s take care of our wounds, and let’s open up to the best!
