Omar Raddad’s lawyer, Maître Sylvie Noachovitch, returns to the Franceinfo 11 p.m. set on the decision taken on May 19 by the Paris Courthouse, which could relaunch the investigation.
This is a new additional information that was ordered this Thursday, May 19 in the case of the Omar Raddad case. His lawyer Sylvie Noachovitch had already brought new elements to justice previously, including 4 DNA mixed with the blood of the victim. One of the DNA had been found 35 times on the famous letters of the inscription “Omar killed me”. New leads have been submitted to the Court of Review by Omar Raddad’s lawyer.
Among the new features, a “secret investigation” of the gendarmerie on the trail of a burglary which went wrong, and which would not have succeeded. Additional information was ordered by the Paris Courthouse in order to question the investigators of this file. A hope shared by his lawyer who hopes for the dismissal under review “because we need this new trial”.
Pardoned, but not acquitted, Omar Raddad still claims his innocence and wants to clear his honor in a new trial. This decision on a possible review should be made in September.
