Four days after the appointment of Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, the new government is still waiting. “It’s pure tactics”, denounced this Friday the president of the Hauts-de-France Region Xavier Bertrand, guest on the program Ma France on France Bleu.
“If Mr. Macron and Mrs. Borne had been able to wait to announce the government until the legislative elections, they would have done so. Obviously, it is to save time and not to engage in the campaign. I think that don’t fool anyone”he added.
“The state with absent subscribers”
“We’ve been living without a government for four weeks now, even though there are urgent matters: the issue of inflation, the impact on purchasing power, concerns, particularly with the international situation, and important files such as Vallourec”lamented Xavier Bertrand at the microphone of Wendy Bouchard.
“The state is absent subscribers. We take time, we save time. But it had been the same for the presidential election. It is the right of the president. But in the meantime, the French need us to take care of their priorities, their emergencies. And that doesn’t wait a month”, he pointed out.
