“It is very difficult for me to make such a decision, but according to the recommendations of my doctor, I absolutely must rest this week so as not to worsen my condition, indicated the singer on her Facebook page. I’m sorry and very saddened by this situation, but I always want to give you good shows and I wouldn’t be physically capable of it right now. Thank you (once again) for your great patience. I’m so looking forward to meeting you. »

The recent winner of four Juno awards, including album of the year, had initially canceled her show scheduled for Wednesday, but later had to give up her concerts from Thursday to Saturday as well.

“I went to Quebec City this morning trying to push myself to fight symptoms that had already been strong for 24 hours, the artist first indicated on Wednesday. I haven’t been able to get through the sound check so weak am I. This is the second concert of the tour that I have to cancel due to illness and it breaks my heart. I am deeply sorry. »

The Imperial Bell quickly announced that the shows would take place from November 18-21. Ticket holders for the May 18 performance will all be refunded and will receive an exclusive presale link by email for the November 21, 2022 show.

As for people who hold tickets for the other performances, they will be honored at the new date: the May 19 show is postponed to November 20, May 20 to November 18 and May 21 to November 19.

People who would no longer be able to attend the shows are invited to write to [email protected] to obtain a refund.
