It’s the high life for Marion Jolles and Romain Grosjean since the two lovebirds decided to leave Europe and Switzerland to settle on the other side of the Atlantic. After several years in Formula 1, the 36-year-old Franco-Swiss driver landed a job in Indycar, the premier competition in the United States. The family has settled in Miami, Florida and life seems smooth and peaceful for the couple and their three children. It seems a long time ago when Romain was close to death during one of his last races in Formula 1. Miraculously, he got away with some beautiful burns to his hands and can continue to practice his passion surrounded by his family.
Married to the racing driver since 2012, Marion Jollès is a mother close to her children and for the 7th birthday of her little Simon, she decided to open up to her subscribers on Instagram, to tell them more about him. In a long publication posted two days ago, for her son’s birthday, May 16, she posted a beautiful photo of her during her pregnancywhile Romain Grosjean lovingly puts his hands around his stomach. “It’s a big brother and a little brother at the same time. ‘The best place of the siblings’, he says proudly! So, from one second to the next, he can be serious and then burst out laughing. Cry then sing. Take us out of the slightest numbness, and marvel”says the 40-year-old journalist.
We call him Mimon, because that’s what Sacha called him in the first months.
Caring and loving, Marion Jollès will then reveal the little nickname that the family has attributed to Simon. “Our little tightrope walker, we call him Mimon, because that’s what Sacha called him in the first months, when he couldn’t pronounce the syllables that would hail his future best friend”, she explains. A nickname that led his father to invent the “Mimonde”a universe in which the 7-year-old boy has created himself and which his parents like a lot.
