the powerful words and the heartbreaking photo of his last alleged companion in the middle of the Cannes Film Festival…

It was January 19. Date on which the world of cinema, friends, and family of Gaspard Ulliel, learned the terrible news. The famous actor was killed following a tragic skiing accident during his stay in the mountains. Since then, no one has forgotten his talent and the person he was. Especially the women for whom he has meant a lot in recent years. Like Vicki Krieps, who has just paid him a vibrant tribute on Instagram, as well as Gaëlle Pietri, mother of their little boy Orso.

On May 10, she also took over her Instagram account, several months after the loss of the father of her child, to pay tribute to him, but also to make some clarification. “The acts of our lives are open to interpretation. The criticism that we can make of them allows us to orient our attitudes and our decisions. The content of the criticism from our accomplished acts encourages us to bring the future with a view to ‘a harmony that knows how to set aside conflict and its sources’she wrote before adding: “That’s how Gaspard and I led our lives.”

Between tribute and nostalgia

But Gaëlle Pietri also wanted to “salute” the collaboration of her ex-companion with the one who would have been the last to share her life: Vicky Krieps. Indeed, Orso’s mother continued: “I am happy that the film ‘More than Ever’ is in selection at the Cannes Film Festival. I am also happy that Gaspard and Vicky Krieps supported each other on this shoot. I thank Gaspard for the intelligence he was able to give to his actions and his career. This is all that I support and that we have to preserve in a common dignity”.

A few days after this tribute, it is therefore Vicky Krieps, herself, so discreet since the death of Gaspard Ulliel, who wanted to write him a tender message on the occasion of the opening of the 75th Cannes Film Festival. The film in which she gives the reply to the actor, In some perspective, is part of the festival selection. This is why she published an accomplice photo with the man who shared her life, from a scene of the film in question with the following caption: “There’s only way to live live… live. More than ever” (Editor’s note: “There is only one way to live… to live. More than ever).
