Faced with rising prices for sunflower oil, many are turning to olive oil, but it is very difficult to choose it correctly with prices that fluctuate widely. Response elements.

There are all types, whether virgin, extra virgin and of all nationalities, and you will surely find it on your plates during the summer: it is obviously olive oil. Very difficult to choose, some cost 4 euros per liter and others 50 euros, for the same quantity. If buying it in a supermarket will cost less, you will have to pay a lot more by going to a specialized store.

Very rigorous specifications and expensive labor are the main reasons for the price of French olive oils, but they are not the only ones. In France, if the weather is capricious, production will decrease and the oil resulting from the olives harvested will therefore see its price climb.
