The Bread Festival is back in Drôme

The Bread Festival is back in Drôme – Ardèche!

It’s a sign: Today is May 16, the day of Saint-Honoré, the patron saint of bakers.

We present to you “La Fête du Pain”, which is making its big comeback this year for 2022, and which takes place from Monday 16 to Sunday 22 May. A whole week, dedicated to bread and bakery.

In the company of Christian Martin, co-president of the Professional Group of Bakery and Bakery-Pastry of the Ardèche and Laurent Serre, the president of the Departmental Federation of Bakery and Bakery-Pastry of the Drôme.

The two presidents were accompanied by Karine Robert, from “Pain et Délices”, rue Louis Pasteur in Guilherand-Granges.

They were able to answer our questions:

What is a Bakery exactly? And a baker? Do you need specific training and diplomas to be able to settle down?

And by the way… good bread, what exactly is it? What Bread do you eat, you who are a Baker?
