During an interview given to Sunday newspaperthe star has spoken of the “big depression” he had after winning Roland-Garros in 1983. “My dream came true quickly”at only 23 years old. “I wasn’t ready at all. That wasn’t what attracted me to the idea of ​​winning Roland. I thought to myself that maybe I’d have more chicks, more wheat, it’s pretty much everything. Fame, but no questions asked. My number was still in the phone book (…) Once I reached this goal, it was no longer the same, even if I had my best ranking afterwards (3rd in the world in 1986, editor’s note)”.

The singer who will participate in the “mental and psychological dimension” of the Federation (FFT) went on to say: “If you can transmit the sport of famous people who are sensitive to the fact that they like to play games, who can spend two lessons with the path of Covid, on psychological problems, so many. Were we talking about burn- out thirty years ago? The term didn’t even exist”.
