It is the longest stage of this Tour de France women 2022 which takes place this July 28 between Bar-le-Duc and Saint-Dié-des-Vosges. In total, 175 kilometers of racing punctuated by small hills. This long stage crosses three Lorraine departments, Meuse, Meurthe-et-Moselle and Vosges.
The stage profile
While we will be halfway through this women’s Tour de France, today’s stage will be played out over the length. You will have to hold on to this 175 kilometer course, spiced up by 3 climbs. The first difficulty is the coast of Pagny-la-Blanche-Côte with a 1.4km climb at 5.5%. You will then have to climb the coast of Gripport which is displayed at 5.3%. The last difficulty is the Haut du Blois pass, 473 meters high. Here, you will have to climb a 4.9% gradient for 1.5 km.

The Women’s Tour de France takes place over eight stages, from July 24 to 31, for a total of 1,029 km of racing. The route will cross three regions (Île-de-France, Grand Est and Bourgogne-France-Comté) and 11 departments. Four flat stages, two hilly stages and two mountain stages with an altitude finish at La Super Planche des Belles Filles.
Twenty-four teams, including five French, have been selected for this first edition.
