One of the members of the Erignac commando, Pierre Alessandri obtained for the third time the green light for a sentence adjustment. The anti-terrorism prosecution immediately appealed this decision.
Detained for 23 years, Pierre Alessandri, one of the members of the commando which assassinated the prefect Claude Érignac, obtained a probationary semi-freedom regime granted by the court for the application of anti-terrorist sentences in Paris. He will work during the day and go to sleep in prison. It’s here third time that sentence enforcement judges grant him accommodation at first instance. The anti-terrorist prosecutor’s office did not wait for the 10-day deadline to appeal the same day, Thursday, May 12.
A transfer to a prison in Haute-Corse
A gesture had already been observed last month, just after the attack which led to the death of Yvan Colonna, by granting the transfer to the prison of Borgo in Haute-Corse. A decision that the lawyer of P. Alessandri, Me Eric Barbolosi had judged as political: “This decision only came because there was a tragedy, because there was an uprising in Corsica, and there was a popular uprising”. The judges will have to decide next week on the request for the development of the third man, Alain Ferrandi.
