This is not really the scenario we hoped for Bourges Basket. After their brilliant victory in the quarter-final first leg against Lattes-Montpellier (99-67), the Berruyères did not manage to fold the series. They were beaten 75-72 in the second leg. And yet, at the end of the third quarter, it was the Tango who were in the lead with a one-point advantage (52-51). It was not enough. In the last period of the match, the Lattes-Montpellier players showed more aggression and showed more skill in shooting.
It will therefore take a decisive third match between the two teams to find out who will go to the semi-finals of the Women’s League. It will be Friday May 13 in Bourges from 8:45 p.m.
