hauntingly mysterious trailer for James Cameron’s next film

The first official trailer for the film “Avatar: The Way of the Water” was released online this Monday, May 9 by 20th Century Studios. A tantalizing taste for the sequel to the science fiction saga of the famous Canadian director James Cameron.

It took time. After thirteen years of waiting, Canadian director James Cameron is back in force with the very first trailer forAvatar: the way of water, the second part of the movie Avatar. It was put online on May 9 by the 20th Century Studios, six days after its exclusive release in cinemas in France. This happened just before the screening of the new film by marvel studios : Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The story takes place more than a decade after the events chronicled in the first film. We follow thes family members of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), who will have to protect each other against a threat still unknown to the public and lead many battles for the survival of the Na’vi people, inhabitants of the planet Pandora.

In this 1 minute 38 trailer, the director gives pride of place to the majestic and spectacular aquatic landscapes of Pandora. Note the importance given by the 67-year-old filmmaker to the new images of the sequel toAvatarr, promising technological advancements of a whole new caliber. What may still leave a trace in the history of cinema after the success of his first Avatar, which at the time had grossed over $2.8 billion at the worldwide box office. The 2009 3D film had already made a deep impression with its spectacular special effects.

To immerse the public in the fantastic universe of Pandora,   the studios intend to bring out the first part in cinemas on September 21 in France.  (TWENTIETH CENTURY STUDIOS)

The overall plot of this new film, however, remains a great mystery, James Cameron will still make his fans salivate before revealing even more in the coming months. Lhe sequel to his saga would prove to be the most ambitious project of his career since no less than four sequels have been announced. With the rhythm of a film every two years until 2028.
