Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred and the Mayor of London announced on Monday that major league regular season clashes will take place in England’s capital in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
The two men announced the creation of the “MLB London Legacy Group” in a joint press release.
This is not the first time Major League Baseball has played games in Britain. In June 2019, the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox faced each other in two duels presented at the Olympic Stadium in London.
The St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs were to be the actors of parties presented at the same place the following season, but the COVID-19 decided otherwise.
Also remember that Major League Baseball will host a home run contest featuring former league stars in July at Crystal Palace in London.
