“It is quite simply the show to which Michel Louvain is entitled”, sums up the director, in a video announcing the show, presented as a way of continuing the “great love story” which united the singer and his audience. . A story that has spanned decades: in 2022, the interpreter of The lady in blue would have celebrated its 65 years of artistic life.

Suzie Villeneuve (Star Academy, The voice), Bryan Audet (Star Academy, Grease, Hairspray, etc.), Matthieu Lévesque (Mixmania, Saturday Night Fever) and Joëlle Lanctôt (Grease, Mary poppins, Mamma mia) will carry the elegant songs of the late charming singer.

Several of them mentioned that the link they had with Michel Louvain’s work began with their grandparents. “We will have the chance not only to pay tribute to him, but to extend what he was,” said Bryan Audet in the video presentation of the show.

It will be enriched with testimonials from friends, unpublished archives, it is said, and even virtual duets. The musical direction of the show was entrusted to Daniel Piché, who played this role with the singer for 30 years.
