Originally from Civray, Jerome Quériaud is back in Poitiers to unveil his own songs in “La Nouvelle Scène”. It’s new for someone who usually composes and plays for others. Mission accepted for Jérôme Quériaud: Here he is accompanied by his brother Julien Quériaud, and his friends Jaybe, Julien Audigier and Hugo Marcus.
Jérôme Quériaud, multifaceted artist
Where to begin to present Jérôme Quériaud? Composer, pianist, guitarist, author and performer (Just that!). At 15, he shared his first stage with his brother Julien at “La Margelle” in Civray. Music quickly became a childhood dream for the man who, upon arriving in Paris, created a tribute band to Michel Berger, his mentor.
I discovered “Message personnel” by Michel Berger. He made me want to compose.
For a few years, our French variety enthusiast became a radio host before devoting himself entirely to music as a musician and composer. Do you know Bénabar’s song “Mascarade”? Composed by Jérôme Quériaud!
Revealing my songs, the pressure is there. It’s the first time!
Composing for other artists, yes! But it’s time for Jérôme to share his own songs with us: “What a sense”, “Everything”, “The golden age”, “My letter to France” and “Chanson boat”.
Jerome Quériaud is not ready to stop the music (for our great happiness). We will soon discover his first EP on the piano. He is also currently working as a musician on the new album by artist Tété, but also as a composer with artists Tom Leeb and Mark Daumail, from the group Cocoon.

We no longer count the number of concerts that Jérôme Quériaud has shared with Amir! It all started in St Etienne when Nazim Khaled was Jérôme’s guest on a radio show. A few years after the meeting, Nazim offers our Poitevin to compose a title, for the artist who has just left The Voice. A few hours of work together and two songs come out: the hit “On dirait” and “Ma vie, ma ville, mon monde” which we listen to on the album “Au coeur de moi”.
The compositions produced, it is with the impression of knowing him for years that Amir offers Jérôme to accompany him on his tours as a guitarist. On this New Stage, Jérôme has invited Hugo Marcus and Jaybe, also musicians of the artist Amir. Good news! All the artists will be in Poitou: In concert at the Acclameur of Niort on November 6, 2022.
