The last episode of “The Kardashians”, broadcast on Thursday, May 5, was devoted to love. And more particularly to the future wedding of Kourtney Kardashian. In fact, in this episode, Travis Barker asks Kim Kardashian’s sister in marriage and the latter then announces it to her children. Born from a first union with Scott Disick, they are 3: Mason, 12 years old, Penelope, 9 years old, and Reign, 7 years old.
And the news did not please Penelope at all. As we see Kourtney Kardashian calling her children via FaceTime just after saying “yes” to her future husband, we hear Mason’s youngest child crying with annoyance. Kourtney then returns to the camera on this call. “Penelope took it badly. I think it’s a big change for her and even though she loves Travis, I think she doesn’t know what it means”she said.
She was supported by her sister, Khloe, who explained that it was a completely normal reaction coming from a 9-year-old girl. “They think they’re losing their dad, I don’t think they think they’re losing their mum. They think their dad is gone and Travis is replacing him. When you’re a kid, you think you have to. choose one, so P’s reaction is understandable”. Kourtney explains by following that the fact that her ex has not yet fully accepted her new relationship, surely explains the reaction of their daughter.
