Electronic music producer CRi will be at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) for two consecutive evenings, May 6 and 7. The show will be held as part of its North American tour (which will take it to New York next summer) and CRi will present its latest mini-album, To You, published on August 13th. The artist from Quebec offers productions with house accents, which have earned him praise and awards (including a Félix for the revival of the piece crazy anywhere by Daniel Bélanger, with Charlotte Cardin). The Magic Flute will be presented by the Opéra de Montréal.

It is one of Mozart’s most famous masterpieces, The Magic Flute, which opens at the Opéra de Montréal this week. This production, directed by Barrie Kosky and the London collective 1927, has already toured the world and was notably presented at the Komische Oper Berlin in 2012. It is this same version that will be presented in Montreal. The show, which will please the whole family, recalls the era of silent cinema thanks to an unusual decor featuring screens and projections. May 7, 10, 12, 15 and 17, at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier.
