Is blue light from screens harmful to our sleep? answer with Guillaume Douet Osteopath

The screens diffuse a blue light which considerably affects the quality of our sleep, by preventing the production of melatonin for example, this hormone which we produce naturally and which allows us to slip gently into sleep. It is, among other things, for this reason that it is essential, in order not to disturb our sleep cycle and thus preserve us, to turn off the screens at least 30 minutes before going to sleep.

Indeed it is not what we watch on the screens that prevents us from sleeping, but rather the diffusion of this blue light which is harmful.
