A presentation of which all the key pieces had been kept very secret but which took place in a place which had not been chosen at random: indeed, Coco Chanel’s fashion house has always been closely linked to Monaco, from the designer herself until her current replacement, Virginie Viard. Passing, of course, by Karl Lagerfeld, creator of Chanel for three decades and very friendly with the princely family of Monaco, in particular Caroline.
If this one was not present, the family was particularly well represented, between Charlotte Casiraghi, spokesperson for the brand, her cousin Pauline Ducruet and her sister-in-law Tatiana Santo Domingo (the wife of her older brother Andréa). Her mother-in-law, Carole Bouquet, a great fashion lover, was also present with her. All in jeans, like Vanessa Paradis, they had respected the dress code and were surely delighted to discover the new pieces.
For the latter, the attachment to the Chanel house is not new: she had been named brand ambassador for perfume coconut in 1991, and their collaboration continued until 2019 through numerous products. A loyalty that she passed on to her daughter: if she was not present this Thursday, Lily-Rose Depp is an important personality for Chanel.
Indeed, since 2015, the young girl (who was then 15 years old) has been working as a model for the brand. She had even been, a year later, the youngest muse of the mythical N°5, one of the most famous perfumes in the world. And we imagine that his famous mother has already told him what she saw this Thursday on the Rock, garment by garment!
