A page turns at Montpellier Hérault Rugby: Benoît Paillaugue will not extend his contract and will leave the club at the end of the season. At 34, the scrum-half decided to take on a new challenge in his career. He will have played 270 games with the MHR jersey in 13 years. He arrived at the club in 2009.
“We understand Benoît’s choice to give up our proposal after several months of discussions and to pursue his career with another club. He is a very important part of our squad, but we know his investment and his love for the club and I am convinced that he will be keen to end his Montpellier adventure in the best possible way”explains Philippe Saint-André on the MHR website.
