Saturday May 14, 2022, let yourself be transported by the Club Peugeot 403-203 franc-comtoises de Filain and the municipality of Rioz, in the 60s by living the historic departure on the holiday route by the RN 57. The 3rd traffic jam de Rioz lets you discover traffic jams for free thanks to vintage cars. Between false breakdowns, inspections by the constabulary and surprises, traffic risks being seriously disrupted for your greatest pleasure!

Admire cars of all models
This invitation to travel is made thanks to the parade of vintage cars that you will only have the opportunity to see once in the region. A dozen cars dating from before 1950 will parade through the streets of Rioz. The CITROËN 10HP B2 from 1921 and the CITROËN 5 HP from 1928 will be on the wheel for the pleasure of your eyes and ears. And that’s not all ! Popular cars, tractors, trucks, military and fire vehicles, two-wheelers and the unmissable “gendarmes de Saint-Tropez” on their solex and their SIMCA ARONDE Radar will also be there.

In total, more than 150 cars are mobilized to showcase the automotive heritage.
Put the throttle
This 3rd traffic jam is divided into two stages. At 11 a.m., old vehicles arrive at Place du Lac and rue de la Faïencerie for a 2 p.m. departure. Hit the mushroom as the roads close at 1:30 p.m. after which your old car will have to stay on the side. At 4 p.m., the Val de Gray Hunting Trompe Sounders will set off with a bang in a symphony that will mingle with the horns and purring of the engines, before heading to Place du Lac until 7 p.m.
End the day in style in a rhythmic and festive atmosphere
You won’t run the risk of sinking a connecting rod because the buffet and snack bar will satisfy you on the Place du Lac from 11 a.m. But beware, no fishtails while waiting before arriving at the counter!
In the evening, pilots and amateurs will sustain themselves during a meal at the Sociocultural Center of Rioz (by reservation – info on www.club403.fr) to extend the event until the end of the night with the notes of the group “Rythmes & Soul” and DJ Alyoon.
