Every year since 1999, minus the two previous years because of what you know, the Groupement de…the Théâtre du Rhin group honors young troupes taking Alsatian lessons and playing theater in the more than 200 different associations affiliated to the group. Throughout the year, very young and young people learn our Müedersproch, and stage it in small plays.
Because of the pandemic, this 21st edition of the Festiv’Alsace will only have one day instead of the usual two, because the coronavirus has created big problems for rehearsals. Despite everything, more than 50 young people from 8 troupes will still come this Sunday to the Tanzmatten in Schlettstàdt. Here, we’re going to play a game, there I said the Tànzmàtte, so you know that Schlettstàdt is Sélestat. I say the names of the villages in Alsatian, you find the names in French.
